Diamond Roll Up Door, Inc. received a purchase order to make 200 aluminum shutter doors for a large U.S. big box company. The doors will cover self-check-out registers.
Diamond was contacted by the company manufacturing the self-check-out registers. Drawings were supplied to Diamond and a roll up door solution was designed by Diamond in 3D SolidWorks. With the approval of the drawings, Diamond produced two prototypes which passed all the manufacture’s requirements. The 200 doors are currently being installed in the Dallas, Texas area. These first 200 doors could be the beginning of serval hundreds, possibly thousands, of doors to come in the near future.
Last year Diamond ran 800 doors for a different large U.S. big box company. They are also working on a roll up door for a company making an insole making machine. These machines are also going into stores for a different large U.S. big box company.
The use of aluminum shutter doors is endless. With the 3D design capability, Diamond can/will develop a solution for your application.
